It was a long drive to Moeraki Beach. We had driven from Queenstown, and although the shot I was originally looking for was the sun rise over the giant rocks I wanted to get my bearings and figure out how long it would take to get there from our hotel in the morning. The morning shot was stunning, however I prefer the softness of the evening sunset.
